CC&RS, Bylaws and Nondiscrimination Code
Dear Mill Creek Cabin Owners
1. The revised 2022 MSCHOA CCRS approved by cabin owner referendum in September 2022 and recently recorded in Tehama County, CA. The final tally of the vote on the CC&Rs and Bylaws was 66 yes votes, 11 no votes and 7 invalid ballots.
The recording of the CC&Rs means these are now the official CC&Rs of the Mill Creek Summer Home Owners Association (MCSHOA).
2. The revised 2022 MCSHOA Bylaws, also passed by cabin owner in the same referendum in September 2022.
3. The text of CA Government Code regarding non-discrimination in CC&Rs and Bylaws that we are required to adhere to and to provide a copy to members of the association.
If you have any questions about these documents, feel free to contact Mark Black, President of MCSHOA, Bill Loker, Secretary of MCSHOA or any member of the MCSHOA Board. On request, we will make hard copies available at the Annual Meeting in July. Let Bill Loker or Mark Black know if you need hard copies of these documents.
Thanks to all the cabin owners who participated in the discussion of the new CC&Rs and Bylaws and to all those cabin owners who voted. The new CC&Rs and Bylaws put MCSHOA on firm legal footing, while retaining the character and qualities of the Mill Creek community.
On behalf of the Board,
Bill Loker, Secretary
