June 18, 2024. The water break has been found and is being fixed, it was near the Resort (just west of the Resort, south side of the highway).  The tanks are 3/4 full and water pressure is back up.

The red flags will remain in place until the water system passes a test to be sure it is clean and clear. Good work, John Frehse!

June 17, 2024. RED FLAGS mean that you should boil your drinking and cooking water.  You should use a rolling boil for about 3 minutes at then let it cool.  Bottled water is a safe alternative.

Currently there is a water break in the community.  The water pressure is relatively low and the red flag warning is a caution to cabin owners as a precautionary tactic to avoid any possible contamination from an open water source.

If you were around on Father’s Day or had visitors to your cabin please take a minute to reflect on whether you turned off your water correctly.  If you see standing water or discover water where you don’t expect it in Mill Creek, please contact the water board ASAP dskola@comcast.net.
