Fire Protection Inspection Reports
All cabin owners should have received a notice from the MCSHA Board about the status of their property for the annual clean up. Part of this report indicates that the natural debris has been cleared, construction materials and burn piles are covered, tree branches are removed 6 feet from the ground.
The other part is about the visibility of your cabin number and house address from the street and with reflective material so it can be easily spotted at night or during heavy smoke. This information is used by emergency personnel and family to locate your cabin. With the current wildfire season upon us, consider making your marking clear, easy to read and ON your cabin so that in an emergency there is no need to search for where the numbers are hidden!
MCSHA will follow through in the next few weeks to be sure everyone is fire safe and protected.
